It’s been great to have some dry weather the past few weeks to get our project out of the ground and onto the next stage. This project for a repeat developer client in Surrey is for 2 new houses along side the conversion of an existing dwelling into 4 flats.

An absolute pleasure being invited for a tour of @sheerwaterglass by @m.mccl new showroom in Guildford. Beautifully designed space with multiple options of entrance doors, casement windows, sash windows, bifold doors, sliding doors, crittal effect, roof lights and much much more. All in situ and very useful to compare and view mock ups of all the above in the design stage before we are on site. We are thrilled to share with you our recently completed historic farmhouse project. This had it all! Complete renovation of the existing farmhouse, extension work, conversion and link to the existing barn, incorporation of renewable technology, integration of ecology! Our brilliant clients had a fantastic attention to detail, determination to reuse and salvage, and a brilliant eye for finishes. We are so happy they can enjoy this for years to come. Works are complete at our Farmhouse project and we are delighted with the workmanship and quality of finish. Here, a new bar area off the main kitchen is located with views into a new playroom. Now for some furniture (and toys)!

Very grateful to revisit one of our more ambitious

Very grateful to revisit one of our more ambitious house remodelling projects - especially fantastic to see it in the sun!

The brief was to design a house their young family could live in for now and the future. Plenty of interesting features, structural gymnastics, open spans, asymmetric vaulted roofs and a collaboration with a client that cared about the details.

@sheerwaterglass were instrumental in helping push the boundaries and influence a fantastic project. If you have a glazing project of any sort, contact them! But if you need assistance with your own architectural or home project, we would be happy to help.

Wonderful to revisit a project that we designed a few years ago. The garden is now grown and the clients have created a home filled with their personality and colour. Originally a bungalow, we reconfigured and added a new floor to the property, with full storey dormers, vaulted spaces and varying light occupying the house throughout the entire day. Works progressing well on this Listed Farmhouse. Wall tiling being finished before gutters arrive and then the scaffolding comes down.

We worked closely with the conservation officer and heritage consultant to ensure the historic character and value of the building was preserved.

Careful colours and material choices help tie the garden, patio and interiors spaces together. Now for the garden to grow! A fantastic team effort by all to reach this milestone. We are delighted to have recently been granted planning permission for a new-build dwelling on a brownfield site in Surbiton. An awkward shaped site along with neighbours’ overlooking to consider, meant careful design of the dwelling’s form in collaboration with daylight and sunlight studies. On to the technical design!

A raw palette of materials used on this renovation project. Reclaimed oak entrance door, handmade bricks mixed in with the existing reclaimed bricks, re-purposed iron stone to paths and walls, mixture of salvaged oak from site tied in with sourced weathered oak.
