2016 – Present
LOCATION – Crondall, Hampshire
PROJECT TYPE – Residential
CLIENT – Private
PROJECT STATUS – Planning
A replacement dwelling located in rural Hampshire, the proposed dwelling will replace the redundant bull rearing barn and stables.
The proposed five-bedroom dwelling represents an interpretation of a relatively simple construction for a new-build five-bedroom dwelling, whilst also responding to the local environment.
A timber clad volume dissects a perpendicular masonry volume to create an overhanging contemporary entrance to the front. To the rear, the continuation of the timber clad volume generates a series of outdoor spaces and courtyards that serve separate living and dining rooms, along with a study, thus providing separation of spaces whilst also maintaining a visual connection.
