A complete restaurant fit out for a growing healthy eating brand ‘The Detox Kitchen’ in its flagship restaurant premises in central London.
Split over two floors, the empty shell provided a platform to translate the identity of the brand into the design and layout of a restaurant and an exercise studio. The design balances the spatial organisation of the served and seated with the pragmatic and functional workings of food preparation and display.
We introduced a calm palette of materials – oiled birch plywood for joinery, marble countertops and polished concrete floors to play off against the splashes of colour of the upholstery and the living wall. The honest palette of materials help to represent the lean, unprocessed, natural ingredients used within their food and drink.
