Our scheme for 6 additional rooms to the Fisherman’s Cottage Pub in Reading has been approved by Reading Borough Council.
An extremely challenging site presented challenges concerning the existing listed building, number of additional rooms, landscaping, parking, significant changes in level and access and security.
The proposed scheme utilises the topography to limit the impact of the proposals on the existing listed pub. It therefore appears to consist of a single story building when in-fact it is two storeys, thus maintaining the local area’s green thoroughfare to the canal.
