FlowerKittle Architects design for the Detox Kitchen on Mortimer Street in London has started on site!
Located on two floors within the Fitzroy Place Development, the design for a new Deli includes spaces for both a served seating area and a large marble serving counter for those in a hurry. The space is designed with a calm, industrial palette of polished concrete floors, marble countertops and waxed steel framing. Timber joinery, painted walls and glowing light fittings add extra warmth to the space alongside the vibrant colours of the food being prepared. Stained ply timber linings form a lower datum to contrast the steel vertical posts that subdivide the space yet provide views through and allow the colour of the walls to be seen.
Aiming for completion early October, it will be Lily Simpson’s (founder/chef) third and largest of the brands Deli’s within London. Click here for a link to the Detox Kitchen where you can get a taster of the delicious, healthy food that will be on offer.
