Appledore new-builds granted planning permission.

May 2016

We are delighted to have received planning permission for two new-build dwellings in Appledore in North Devon.

The challenging site in Appledore has views out over the Lundy Island Estuary and to the sea beyond. The corner plot has a drastic change in levels and is located in the proximity of the Appledore conservation area.

The proposed dwellings comprise of three-storeys which take advantage of the sea views, particularly at roof level with a master-bedroom suite and landscaped terrace. The overall design concept aims to adhere to the immediate context of the conservation area, whilst also maximising the potential of the sought-after site, with contemporary interpretations of traditional forms and intricate material details.

We are looking forward to the technical design with construction due to start on site in late autumn.
